  • chevron_rightHow much are the dues for Thornwilde residents? (Updated)
The HOA annual assessment is $600 ($300 due on January 1, $300 due on July 1).
  • chevron_rightWhy did my annual HOA dues go up this year? (New)
The HOA Board approved an annual dues increase of $50.00 taking effect January 1, 2026. This increased HOA dues from $550 to $600 annually. This is the first increase in 4 years. Inflation in services, cost of maintenance, and insurance over the last 4 years has far exceeded the approximately 9% increase in dues. Dues for Thornwilde are still very reasonable compared to other neighborhoods that have similar ammenities and expansive common areas.
  • chevron_rightHow much of my annual dues goes to Board of Director salaries?
At the March 30, 2022 annual meeting the board amended the bylaws via a quorum vote to allow for compensation to the volunteer board. The compensation is to waive the yearly assessment rate for those active board members serving within that year (or at a prorated amount for months served).
  • chevron_rightWhat if I have an issue/complaint about another owner/resident? (Updated)

  • chevron_rightWhat is the process and timeline for HOA violations, penalties, and fines? (Updated)
A homeowner violation will be communicated through a series of written, emailed, and mailed messages. Generally, a homeowner will have 15 business days to remedy the violation. If it isn’t fixed, the process escalates with additional warning notices and penalties (fines) assessed by the HOA. If the fine isn’t paid and the violation isn’t fixed, a lien will be placed on the property. Homeowners with questions about the process on what they need to do to remedy their violation should contact the Towne Properties Property Manager at 859-291-5858 or by email RachaelNoonan@TowneProperties.com.
